The Quilters will be collecting items during lent to make Baby Care Kits for Lutheran World Relief. The
items needed are:
- Lightweight cotton T-shirts (cannot be onesies)
- Gowns or pajamas without feet
- Receiving blankets (or flannel and we will make them)
- Jacket or Sweater with hood or else with a hat
- Cloth diapers–we can make them out of t-shirts (no stains or holes, but they can
- be colored and/or have printing on them)
- Pairs socks
- Bath-size bar soap (Ivory or Dove)
- Diaper Pins
- Hand towel (dark color recommended)
If you love going to rummage sales or thrift stores, look for these baby items (in good
condition-no stains or worn) or buy them. If you would rather make a donation of cash,
we can purchase the items necessary to complete the kits. Thank you for your support
