There is no one sort of person who finds a place at Messiah.\u00a0\u00a0 People come at different points along the journey of their lives.\u00a0\u00a0 Some are lifelong Lutherans.\u00a0 Many others come from different church backgrounds, or no church background at all.\u00a0\u00a0 Some people come on their own.\u00a0 Others come with a friend or family member.<\/p>\n
Wherever you are in your life and your faith, we have a process for helping you explore Christian life in community here at Messiah.\u00a0 We call this process \u201cWelcome along the Way\u201d. For many people this process leads to becoming active members of Messiah.\u00a0\u00a0 With the help of a sponsor, and with a group of other newcomers and Messiah members, you are free to ask your own questions, develop relationships with others who are worshiping at Messiah, encounter the Gospel, and learn about Lutheran tradition.\u00a0 \u00a0At the same time we give you opportunities to find your own ways to serve, without making commitments before you are ready.<\/p>\n
